How does an avalanche occur and what is needed for an avalanche to go off? What does typical avalanche terrain look like? How do I plan a tour in the current avalanche situation? How do I search for a buried person using the avalanche transceiver? You will be able to answer all these questions and more yourself after this course: We will work out the basics of avalanche awareness together, learn and practice comrade rescue, and explore the SLF's WhiteRisk app together. We will start with a little theory and then illustrate and apply the knowledge we have learned. The exact program of the two days will be adapted to the weather.
