Mining Music: Concert/Sound Experiments with Stones

Concert:
Four singers and a percussionist lead the audience into the interior of the Gonzen mine. They sing, make music with stones and with bird flutes. The sounds are "mystical": vocal sounds that sound like stones, stones and bird flutes, that sound like human voices and then all these sounds on the rocks - who would have thought that the mountain could sound so different.

The occasion is not only a "concert in a special place". It is also a journey into one's own interior. It becomes increasingly quiet and dark during a concert. And in a mine it is really quiet and really dark! In this way, one glides gently from listening to music into "inner listening", takes the images-of-the-mountain and the music into oneself, becomes calm oneself.
And then the music leads "out" again, with new joy and life energy.

Bergwerkmusik is aimed at mountain, music and art lovers as well as families and people who want to experience a special perception of silence.

Family workshop "Sound experiments with stones":
Before the concert, there will be a workshop for families. Together with the percussionist of Bergwerkmusik, we find out which stones sound how and what different sounds can be elicited from them.
