Music Sunntig

The Bergüner Ländlerfründa were founded in 1974. In addition to the two founding members Pauli Strub (1st clarinet) and Werni Walser (2nd clarinet), Hitsch Zürst and Markus Walser (Schwyzerörgeli) as well as Fluri Burger (bass violin) still belong to the formation today. The five musicians cultivate the genuine, traditional Graubünden style and are therefore known throughout the Swiss folk music scene. Cheerful and informal, they interpret old, partly long-forgotten dances with their typical "Bergüner-Schmiss".
The motto of the Bergüner Ländlerfründa is: "Gmüetlichkeit, z'Fridaheit und darzua Musik macha!" True to this motto, the CD "40 years old but young..." affiliated.
