One of the most sought-after pianists of our time is coming to Andeer with an original program that will introduce us not only to rarely performed works, but also to unusual combinations. He brings together music by the French Baroque genius François Couperin with works by Francis Poulenc, an important mediator between late Romanticism and modernism. In the case of Scarlatti and Haydn, for whose interpretations Christian Zacharias is known, the works create a bridge between Baroque and Classical. With Schubert's Moments Musicaux, Zacharias completes the programme with a counterweight to the kaleidoscope of different styles and soundscapes that will be heard on the last evening of the festival.
