The 70-year-old widow Mahin alone in Tehran. After a convivial afternoon with friends, she decides to give love another chance. Unexpectedly, she meets the taxi driver Faramarz, who is the same age. This chance encounter turns into a night that is as surprising as it is unforgettable.

The film tells a soulful story of hope and love with tender humour. In doing so, he gives an authentic insight into everyday life in Iran and into the subtle possibilities of emancipating oneself against the authoritarian regime.
