Organ & Trumpet

Under the title "Le Jardin Suspendu", the two musicians Joan Retzke (trumpet) and Ulrich Weissert (organ) present a varied programme. Baroque compositions by Johann Neruda and Johann Sebastian Bach meet tangos by Astor Piazolla, the eponymous work by Jehan Alain meets a swinging Toccata by Heinrich Riethmüller. The concert takes place in memory of Dr. Johann Jakob, whose favourite chorale "Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern" will be heard in two chorale preludes.
