Event Chur
Public Viewing - "Beethoven's 9th"
Description
The Culture for All association and the Bilingual Education Office for the Deaf/Hearing Impaired, in cooperation with the Sinfonietta de Lausanne, enable a musical experience of a different kind: At the Concert for All, people with hearing impairments and deaf people can experience classical music with vibration vests for the first time in Eastern Switzerland. The vibrations of the music, which can be felt on the body, enable a tactile sensation of rhythm, tempo and melody. But it doesn't stop at a pure tactile experience of music. In addition, the sung passages of the classical concert will be translated into sign language.
