Reading and discussion with Sina

Sina is a phenomenon – she has been on stage for decades and is the most successful dialect singer in Switzerland. When writing lyrics for her songs, she regularly collaborates with writers such as Sibylle Berg, Simone Meier and Urs Augstburger – they describe their experiences with the process from the idea to the finished song in an exciting and entertaining way. Sina also collaborates with Adrian Stern, Erika Stucky, Büne Huber and other Swiss music greats. She and other companions have their say in detail in conversations. Of course, a big interview with Sina herself is not to be missed. Numerous photographs and the exclusively available archive material also make the book a visual highlight. A must for all those interested in songwriting, women in pop history - and of course the book for all Sina fans.

Sina, born in 1966, is a Swiss dialect singer from the canton of Valais. Of their fourteen albums to date, many have reached gold or even platinum status. Among other things, in 1995 Sina received the prestigious Prix Walo as the most successful singer of the year in the pop category, in 2019 she was the first woman in the Swiss music scene to be honoured with the Outstanding Achievement Award, and the Swiss Music Award for best female act followed in 2023. She has been on the concert stage more than a thousand times at home and abroad. Since the beginning of her career, Sina has been initiating crossover projects in which she works with musicians from different styles. Her latest CD, "Ziitsammläri", was released in 2022.
