Kellie Rucker (United States) and Richie Arndt (DE) have a long-standing musical and personal friendship. For over 30 years, Kellie has been a traveler in the world of blues and roots music. She is a big name in the international blues scene, a concentrated force on the blues harp and an excellent singer with a fantastic stage presence. Born in Oklahoma City, her family changed residence frequently. Texas, Virginia and the Florida Keys were just a few stops. She lived and worked in Los Angeles for many years and toured up and down the West Coast of the United States. She has been on stage or in the studio with many "big names" from jazz, blues and rock such as Dizzy Gillespie, Stephen Stills, Albert Collins, ZZ Top, Little Feat and B.B. King. Under her own name, she also released several CDs in the United States. Today she lives in Florida and often comes "across the pond" to play concerts with the Richie Arndt Band and also in a duo with Richie Arndt ...  Richie Arndt, blues, roots and rock guitarist and singer from East Westphalia, is a fixture on the German blues scene. Several German Blues Awards as "Best Singer" (2018) for the "Best CD" (2016), "Best Guitarist" (2022) as well as winning the German Blues Challenge (2018) with his band, also brought him international success and led him to tours in Germany as well as concerts in the United States, Ireland, Russia, France, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Austria and Switzerland. In their tour luggage, the band has the joint live CD "Rockin ́Americana", which was released on FUEGO. It is always fascinating to hear and see these two musicians play together. Don ́t miss it!
