EXPERIENCE | Conversation

For 50 years, Ruth Senn has been creating pictorial worlds with strict forms and free colours. At the beginning still strongly colored and colorfully mixed, the works become quieter and quieter and invite us to come to rest and look. Whether painting, object or drawing, the artist always assumes the strict formality of concrete and constructive art and surprises with completely new visual experiences.

.

All of Ruth Senn's works are non-representational and are assigned to Optical Art or Minimal Art in Constructive Art. Ruth Senn primarily paints glazed pictures in acrylic, similar to watercolor on paper.

Her sculptural works made of wood, acrylic glass, aluminum and polystyrene were created as a counterbalance to the paintings.
