Description
After a short ascent towards Grauberg, we get an overview of the Lower Segnesboden and an insight into the remains of the Glarus Thrust. Mountain formation, rocks and geomorphology are the focus of the first part of the guided hike. The flora over base-rich subsoil and the dwarf shrub vegetation are typical of this area. On the descent to Lower Segnesboden, we concentrate on the path and gain great insights into the high alpine alluvial plain. On the Segnesboden, we experience the beauty of the water and enjoy the uniqueness of this alpine floodplain and moorland landscape of national importance.
