Sils Choir Weeks 2024: "Folk songs from Graubünden"

Many languages are spoken in Graubünden, the canton of 150 valleys. In addition to the various Romansh idioms, there are also Italian and German dialects, such as the rustic Valser German. Graubünden is characterised by a large and impressively beautiful treasure trove of songs, which is still growing today. We only really get to know and appreciate Switzerland's largest canton with its rugged mountains, winding valleys, characteristic villages and headstrong people through its songs.
