Summer Serenade - Concert with Vent Negru

The inspiring source of Vent Negru, founded in 1991, is the rich heritage of songs and instrumental pieces of southern Alpine folk music, which has been preserved to this day thanks to oral tradition and the records of the first researchers and collectors. The trio interprets rediscovered old ballads, lullabies, dance songs, songs in the style of "canto spontaneo" that have been preserved from oblivion, enriching this repertoire with new compositions inspired by tradition. Music and storytelling of stories, curiosities and anecdotes with the desire to show and make audible the value of Ticino's popular culture.
