Swiss Hiking Night. Llamas accompany you into the morning.

When we arrive at the starting point early in the morning, the llamas are already waiting for us. They accompany us through forest and across meadows up to Mompé Medel to the hill of Stagias. The higher we get, the more the view widens. At our feet lies the monastery village of Disentis and the upper Surselva. It is also slowly getting brighter and we hope for an atmospheric sunrise. Our destination is the "Academia Vivian", a modern building that was built after the devastating storm Vivian in 1990 and has since served as a training center or is available for other events. Here we take a deep breath and satisfy our hunger with a simple breakfast. The way back is partly on an old mule track via Vergera and Mompé Medel to the starting point in Fontanivas.
