Swiss Hiking Night in the Safien Valley

The Swiss Hiking Night is dedicated to art in the Safien Valley. The Land Art Biennale Art Safiental has found its permanent place in the art calendar. Every two years, around 12 temporary art positions are shown in the Safiental. The hiking night tour leads from Safien Platz up to Camanaboda and on to the Camaner Hütta with a view of the Safiental mountains in the evening. From here it goes steadily downhill to the Bächer Hütta and on to Thalkirch.

In Safien Platz and in Thalkirch there is the possibility to visit some art installations. At the Gasslihof in Thalkirch, a well-deserved refreshment awaits you at the end of the hiking night. The Safier Taxi takes the night hikers back to Safien Platz.
