The multiplication tables or already the first great love? Winnetou and Old Shatterhand or Sputnik? Or is this all already the deepest past and glorified nostalgia?

In two 45-minute episodes, we revive the 1950s – in image, word and music. The well-known radio announcer Marco Caduff leads through the program and reads original documents from the era. Time Scope Music accompanies the iconic images of an exciting but almost forgotten decade with the sound of the 50s.

So immerse yourself for a few hours in a world where everything still seemed possible, where America was considered the shining example of real life. In which hula hoop and twist were closer than Cold War or existentialism. In the Vespa or Beetle were considered the epitome of individual mobility. Immerse yourself in a world where ships were called Queen and the Super Constellation was the star of the skies. Musically criss-cross, from Take Five to Volare, from Chega de Saudade to Jailhouse Rock. With texts by Max Werner Lenz, Dieter Meier, Alfred Rasser and many more.
