Exhibition and film screenings on the unforgettable theatre project in the Rheinwald.

It has been 40 years since this extraordinary theatre project was premiered in Splügen. Under the direction of director Gian Gianotti, actor Andrea Zogg and over 50 amateur actors from the valley told the story of the resistance against the flooding of the Rhine Forest in 1944. In order to generate electricity, a power plant consortium wanted to build a dam wall and dam the Hinterrhein.

Program

  • 7.30 p.m. Vernissage with discussion in the exhibition in the stable, followed by an aperitif

The exhibition runs from Saturday, July 20 - Sunday, September 15, 2024, with opening hours from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
On Sunday, September 1, there will be a film screening with coffee and cake in the community hall of the schoolhouse.
