D'Chicory
In the 16th and early 17th centuries, the rural population of Malans and the lordship was bedded in poverty. The legends and stories from that time remind us of this to this day. They all lie between hope, reality, desire and belief in miracles. In order to escape poverty, many young boys enlisted as mercenaries in the service of others, often the only way to secure a livelihood for themselves and their families.
The Chicory is a legendary play written by the author Martin A. Krummen on the basis of several short stories. During the premiere, you will immerse yourself in the former reality of the Bündner Herrschaft.

An evening on the Älpli
The Malans Älplibahn and the Jenins theatre group jointly offer you an unforgettable experience on the Älpli:
• You take the cable car to the Älpli at 18:00, 18:15, 18:30, 18:45 according to your reservation
• Enjoy early evening dinner on the terrace
• The terrace will be transformed into a theatre stage
• You will experience the play "d'Wegwarte" at dusk (start at 8:30 pm)
• You take the Älplibahn back to Malans between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., possibly ending the evening before in the restaurant

Weather
In changeable and uncertain weather, games can be played. Showers are not an obstacle. In case of bad weather, an alternative date will be offered. The decision to perform will be made at 3 p.m. at the latest. The corresponding information will be posted on the homepage of the Älplibahn.
