Event Arosa Lenzerheide
Wie Tiere sich unterhalten
Description
Squeaking, roaring, whistling - How animals communicate with each other Animals are often referred to as "quiet creatures." However, they are not that quiet! Just like us humans, animals 'speak' to each other. Especially birds and mammals do this using a diverse range of vocal expressions. Of course, they also communicate without language. This primarily involves the use of scents, visual signals, and behaviors. Flurin Camenisch, zoologist and museum educator at the Graubünden Natural History Museum, will let various animals have their say during his presentation and demonstrate that they can be quite outspoken as well. This and much more awaits all nature enthusiasts, both big and small, at this richly illustrated talk! This lecture will take place as part of the Arosa Classical Festival.
