Travelling exhibition "Graubünden treasures on the road"

One story – many facets: From May to October 2024, a mobile museum will travel through the regions of Graubünden on a treasure hunt. In a variety of unexpected ways, the mini-museum addresses the history and culture of Graubünden. At the heart of the exhibition are the favourite pieces of Graubünden residents. These treasures are collected on the journey through the valleys. In October, the mobile museum will stop in the courtyard of the Rosengarten cultural centre in Grüsch.

The travelling exhibition on the occasion of the anniversary "500 years of the Free State of the Three Leagues" is a kind of rolling treasure trove on a journey of discovery. The modern container is home to a lot of interesting facts about the diverse history and culture of the Free State. Based on a facsimile of the Covenant Letter of 1524, the language versions edited especially for the anniversary and their modern-language translations, as well as maps and a chronology, the history of the three-confederate state can be experienced in a multidimensional way. The exhibition takes visitors on a journey through Graubünden's history.

The treasures of the people of Graubünden
In an oversized type case, the exhibition shows objects that connect the people of Graubünden with home, Graubünden and home. The loans collected during the trip at the various locations open up a multifaceted view of Graubünden. In this way, the mini-museum becomes a total work of art that changes and develops from station to station. Following the tour, the Rhaetian Museum will show the collected objects and stories in a special exhibition. The organisers are looking forward to many exciting stories about the personal loans.

Various events will take place in Grüsch as part of the exhibition:

- Fri. October 11, 2024, 7 p.m.: Kellertheater with Erwin Dirnberger
- Sat. 19 October 2024, from 10 a.m. "Graubünden Treasures" collection day. Objects and stories from the population are included in the "Graubünden Treasure Collection".
- Sun. 27 October 2024, from 10 a.m. Rosengarten "Games Olympics" with gastronomy, free admission. Eight teams compete in an exciting game competition.
