Thomas Mann's novel "The Magic Mountain", published in 1924, is a book that is both intellectual and full of life, and highly funny. Davos owes its place on the map of world literature to him. At the end of the "Magic Mountain" year, cultural journalist Manfred Papst talks to two illustrious guests: Thomas Sprecher is a German philologist and lawyer, Isabelle Vonlanthen is deputy chairman of the "Magic Mountain" programme.
