Why another William Tell and why does he have to be on stage? Not only because Schmidt's Tell won the Graubünden Literature Prize 2023 and not only because his Tell became the favourite book of the Swiss book trade, no: because Schmidt not only looks at the characters, but can apparently slip into them. This makes this TELL so theatrical that it absolutely has to be on stage!
