Maya and Christof Steiner run the Kurhaus Bergün with a familiar warmheartedness and an eye for detail. Photovoltaic systems, pellet heating, heat pump ensure the right temperature and energy, the Kurhaus’s own environmental fund ensures future-orientation, and the fact that 70 % of the foodstuffs used in the hotel’s kitchen are regional ensures short delivery distances and support for nearby businesses. With a mixture of residential units and hotel rooms, the Kurhaus Bergün offers the right accommodation for families, couples and solo travelers. The restaurant, including a sun terrace, welcomes outside guests too; cultural events are regularly held in the imposing hall in the art nouveau style. The Kurhaus received the “Historic Hotel of the Year” award.
