Chalet Nidus Montis

Chalet in the beautiful area of the "Beverin Nature Park". In front of the house there is a large lawn and two terraces (one on the side and one behind the house). Our guests have access to the whole chalet. The ground floor (with double room, shower/WC, bunk bed & sofa bed) can only be reached through a separate entrance from the outside. In the home of the majestic mountain conquerors, the ibex, the park with its centre in Wergenstein offers a perfect starting point to a fantastic area for exciting ski tours and hikes. Winter season: There are various toboggan and winter hiking trails on the Schamserberg. The ski areas of Splügen and Heinzenberg (Sarn and Tschappina/Urmein), which are suitable for adults and children, are only 20-30 minutes away by car, and the world-famous ski resort of Lenzerheide (new: with a connecting cable car to Arosa) can be reached in 40 minutes. Summer season: The surrounding rivers and mountain lakes offer various opportunities for alpine fishing (we will be happy to inform you about all the important details if necessary). For boulderers, a trip to Magic Wood - world-famous bouldering paradise in Ausserferrera is recommended. Especially for mountain bikers and hikers, Wergenstein offers a good starting point with many possibilities. The mountain lakes are ideal for a refreshing dip or the outdoor pool and the mineral bath in Andeer entice you to relax in the mountain water. The chalet is only 2.7 km away from the famous hiking route "viaSpluga" (Thusis to Chiavenna, Italy). For action heroes: canyoning in the Viamala Gorge on the Hinterrhein or river rafting through the Rhine Gorge on the Vorderrhein. Golfing: Within a 40-minute drive you can reach golf courses Alvaneu, Bad and Lenzerheide. The Hotel Capricorns offers a first-class restaurant and bar just 300m away from the chalet.
