Il Tablà - The luxurious holiday house in Ardez

Il Tablà is a 400 years Engadine hay barn. He was completely removed in 2015 and equipped by designers stylish and with understated luxury.

The house is approximately 700m2 undeveloped land. The property is located at the upper edge of the village of Ardez, which directly adjacent green meadows invite for strolling; in winter a beginner's slope is there set up with ski lift.

Ardez is one of the best-preserved Engadine villages of this area. Since the Charm of the old village is completely received, it counts as a model village Romanesque home decor. The environment will be chosen by the WWF as priority-reserve. The ruin Steinberg, with the remains of St. Lucius Chapel, perched high above the village and invites to short walks that are rewarded with magnificent views.

The large and varied ski area Scuol Ardez is made in 5 minutes via Ftan, or in 10 minutes via Scuol accessible. A cross-country skiing with night lights can be found right in the village Ardez, within walking distance in 3 minutes. The neighboring village of Ftan also has the Dario Cologna Langlaufloipe, 8.5 kilometers long. On both sides of the valley hikers and mountaineers will find impressive routes, short or long, leisurely or adventurous. Popular is among others the way to Scuol, the magnificent natural by way of a suspension bridge to the castle Tarasp. Highly recommended is a trip to Lai Nair.

After the sport, as bad weather or simply to relax the spa Bogn Engiadina at nearby Scuol is recommended.

Shops, bakery and post office included, located in the village. Eggs, milk, cheese and organic meats can be purchased directly from the farm. Moreover Ardez has a café and two restaurants: the "Alvatern" is one of the hochklassigsten restaurants in the Lower Engadine - yet with moderate prices.

Ardez is very well served by public transport. The station is located below the village and the house is just 5 minutes away on foot.

We, the owners, are a young family from Zurich. The house is also inhabited by us and therefore is also fully equipped. For this reason Rentals are based on mutual trust. We are therefore looking forward to guests, who also enjoy the beauty.
