Tschierv is the highest village in Val Müstair (Münstertal), 1735 meters above sea level. It is located about 27 km from Zernez and 12 km from the Italian border. The apartment in the "Chasa Veglia" is easily accessible by car (parking available) or by public transport. The nearest Postbus stop is only 350 meters from the house. In the village shop you will find everything for daily use. The family-friendly environment is perfect for a winter holiday. The beautiful ski area "Minschuns" includes 3 ski lifts and a mountain restaurant, ideal for lunch and coffee breaks, with a sun terrace that offers a breathtaking view of the mountains. Ski courses are offered equally for beginners and advanced skiers. The ski lifts can be easily reached either by car (5 minutes drive) or by free ski bus (stop 350 meters from the apartment). The ski slope (valley run) ends practically in front of the front door of the apartment. Other winter activities include several km of groomed cross-country ski trails (skating and classic). A natural ice rink is located in the village center. An illuminated toboggan run from the village of Lü to Tschierv offers family fun, even after dark. In summer, the municipality operates a heated outdoor pool. Tschierv is also the starting point for numerous cycling and hiking tours (e.g. Swiss National Park). For summer skiers, the Stifserjoch can be reached in half an hour. The local sports shop offers plenty of equipment for rent or purchase.
