Hotel Kistenpass

The Hotel Kistenpass*** in Breil/Brigels owes its name to the spectacular mountain crossing (2730 m above sea level) that connects the Glarus region with the Surselva. The building accommodated its first guests as early as 1847, the beginning of the Brigels summer bloom as a holiday resort. The cosy atmosphere in the family hotel is still appreciated today. One of the highlights of the house is the view, which offers wonderful deep and far-reaching views of the mountain landscape on the young Rhine. In the newly designed entrance area, the host Lorenz Derungs presents works of art by the local painter Rudolf Mirer. In the cosy parlour with lots of Swiss stone pine wood and a tiled stove, home-style cuisine and local specialities such as maluns and capuns are served. When the weather is nice, guests are welcome to dine on the terrace while enjoying the unobstructed views of the Alps. Rental bikes are available. It is a 10-minute walk to the mini golf course and the Brigels Golf Course. Dogs are welcome.
