Maiensäss Rütland

Surrounded by meadows and forest, the "Rütland" mountain hut is enthroned with a view high above the Prättigau valley floor. The Maiensäss with its pine parlour, which has been developed with a lot of artisanal flair, is located in a great panoramic location at around 1575m above sea level. The charming hideaway is finished to a very high standard and equipped with stylish, beautiful wooden furniture. The seating area in front of the house invites you to linger and enjoy, there are deck chairs and a fire bowl available for grilling. You can wash yourself with fresh spring water outside at the fountain or then at the heated laundry tub. Guests at Maiensäss Rütland should be able to use a wood-burning stove and a wood-burning stove. The electricity comes from a solar system and is therefore used sparingly, you have the possibility to charge your electronic devices. The cottage can be reached via Heubergstrasse by private car (for this you need a driving permit of 20 Fr. per week, which the host will be happy to organize for you on request). Own parking bay on the feeder road. It remains a short walk from the road (flat route, approx. 200m). Check-in will be done by the owner, who will be happy to explain everything to you in detail. Of course, he will also help you with the transport of your luggage. In the village of Fideris (about 15 minutes by car) you will find a grocery store, a bakery and an idyllically situated outdoor swimming pool with a small range of restaurants. An extensive network of hiking trails is literally at your feet. Mountain bike tours are possible from the house. At the beginning of the plateau of the Fideriser Heuberge lies the Berghaus Arflina with restaurant and children's playground. The Heuberge can be reached via the Heubergstrasse by car in 15 minutes. You can rent scooters or bike boards for the descent at the Berghaus.
