In one of Switzerland’s most sustainable hotels (Green Globe certified) with a completely carbon-neutral building infrastructure, there are a number of things that contribute to minimising the impact on the environment: from the self-sufficient energy concept to the targeted reduction of drinking water consumption, the charging stations for electric vehicles and the conscious purchasing of food to the ecological spa products.

The modern chalet-style design cleverly combines wood, stone and glass. The oak floors and selected pieces of furniture provide natural, rustic warmth in the 40 rooms and junior suites as well as in the 9 apartments. All rooms have a spacious balcony with a unique view of the Alpine mountain landscape and 100% natural Elky beds. The apartments without additional services can also be booked outside the hotel season.

In the centrepiece of Valsana, the Restaurant Twist, the lobby, lounge, restaurant and bar merge seamlessly into one another. The 800 m2 spa area has a relaxation pool, a steam bath and saunas made from reclaimed wood with views of the forest as well as a panorama room with natural light for yoga and other training sessions. The state-of-the-art fitness room and the hotel’s own ski and bike shop stock the necessary equipment for action-packed experiences. The Valsana tennis centre is right next to the main building.
