20190712 - Coazhütte - Tschiervahütte

Descent from the Coazhütte to the fork hotel Roseg.

Then we take the wooden bridge over the Ova de Rosseg and start the climb to the Chamanna da Tschierva (2573 m).  We take the more adventurous route to the right. Here is a cable bridge at the place where the different streams of the glacier flow together.   Once on the other bank we climb through the plain to the path that leads to the Chamanna da Tschierva (2573 m). We reach the side moraines of the Vadret da Tschierva. The hut can already be seen from here and is located at the very back of the Val Roseg, left against the steep mountainside of the Piz Tschierva (3546 m). This climb gives you a great view of the mountains: Piz Bernina (4049 m), Piz Scerscen (3971m) and Piz Roseg (3937m).
