Details

Description

Immediately after the start in the village of Lumbrein, the calories from breakfast are burned again. It goes steadily uphill to Alp Nova 670 meters in altitude. For a short distance, the route even leads over an uphill trail. However, the magnificent mountain scenery on the pass easily compensates for the many drops of sweat. Now it goes over smooth single trails and alpine roads down to St. Martin in Obersaxen. If you want to eat, you can make a culinary stop halfway along the route at the Maiensäss restaurant Waschchrüt.

The route now leads through the lonely, rear part of Obersaxen down to the Vorderrhein and a short time later to Trun - today's stage destination.

Geheimtipp

The panorama at Alp Stavonas is one of the most beautiful points on this stage.

Lunch stop in the rustic Maiensäss-Beizli Waschchrüt
