Directions

From the car park, it is best to take the bus or train in the direction of Pontresina, which is a good 8km short to the La Resgia via ferrata. The via ferrata is highly recommended as an ascent in good weather. But requires correspondingly more material to carry with you. The via ferrata is divided into a lower (long) and upper (short) section.  From the via ferrata you can treat yourself to a refreshment and a great view of the glacier of the Bernina massif. Afterwards, the route climbs steadily to the Georgy Hut and the actual destination of the day, the Piz Languard. Surefootedness and sturdy shoes are sufficient for this easy-to-climb path.

If you want, you can spend the night at the Georgy Hut at over 3000m. Or descend back to the starting point in a good 2.5 hours.
