Anhänger - Transalp Etappe 5: Samedan-Berninapass

Stage 5 is quite short and it's actually only uphill. The path to the Bernina Pass is perfectly signposted for cyclists and you are on separate cycle paths almost to the top of the pass, which are sometimes asphalted and gravel further up. Every now and then it gets a bit tight for the trailer, but it works quite well. Due to the shortness of the stage, a detour to the Morteratsch Glacier is a good idea - a scenic highlight of the tour and clear proof of the crossing of the main Alpine ridge. The night at the Ospizio Bernina is a highlight because it is "upstairs".
