The starting point is the cross-country skiing centre in Samedan. From there it goes in the direction of Pontresina, then in a constant ascent up to Lake Staz. Now it gets really fierce - the ascent to Stazeralp demands a lot. But afterwards a nice descent beckons. Back it goes again slightly uphill towards Lake Stazersee. Now a section is driven, which you have already done before, simply uphill. Finally, we go through the Stazerwald towards Celerina. On the plain between Inn and Flaz we pass San Gian back to the starting point in Samedan.
