Casaccia-Hinterrhein

Hike from Casaccia over 9 passes to Hinterrhein. The duration is 3 - 4 days. Overnight stays are in the tent. Bivacco Chiara et Walter is well furnished with gas cooking facilities and beds. Thus, this is an alternative, as long as it works with the route sections. The paths are continuous, sometimes they are narrower sometimes wider, sometimes they are not marked. With GPS, they are always to be found. An exception is the transition from the Passo del Balniscio via the Pizzo Curciusa to the Btta de Curciusa. There is no path here and the descent leads over a long scree slope. The gate is varied along the entire route, it leads past many lakes and the only place where civilization area is entered is around Isola.
