Park in Riva da Lej (1790 m above sea level) and after crossing the road take the steep path that climbs in a north-west direction to the 2616 m above sea level of Lej da la Tscheppa. During the climb there are beautiful views towards the Lej da Segl, Monte Disgrazia and the peaks of Val Masino; At the exit of the forest there are short stretches secured with chains. After about 3.7 kilometers of ascent you arrive at the deep blue of the Lej de la Tscheppa, fed by rainwater and melting snow. Here it is advisable to climb, without having any trace on the ground, to the hump on the eastern side of the lake to have the best views and even more beautiful panoramas (2688 m / asl). Back at the lake, continue on the path in a N-E direction, which slowly loses altitude passing through many small bodies of water; beautiful views of the landscapes of Lake Silvaplana and St. Moritz. At an altitude of 2250 m above sea level, the path begins to descend steeply, with various hairpin bends, towards the valley that goes to the Julier Pass. When you arrive at the junction at 2030 m above sea level, continue to the right on the road that descends towards Silvaplana and then intercepts the "Via Engadina" path that makes a long traverse to the west, parallel to the road below and the lake.
