CH – PIZ GREVASALVAS salendo da Plaun da Lej.

autumn – photo:bit.ly/39C8Zlp –video track:www.relive.cc/view/vRO7JPE9myv – Route (E-T2) of about 16 kilometers – Elevation gain 1130 meters. – Knowing little about the Engadine, I guessed and discovered this beautiful hike. Leave your car in the parking lot of the very small port of Plaun da Lej on the northern shore of Lake Maloja (Lej da Segl – 1800 m / asl) and walk on the dirt road that goes up to the village of Grevasalvas. Among the beautiful huts, turn right onto the path that leads to 2300 m/asl of Plaun Grand where, near the hydrometeorological station, there is a crossroads (going west you go to Piz Lunghin) where you turn right onto the steep path that climbs to Lej Nair (2460 m/asl). From the lake, continuing westwards, you walk through a stony area then from 2600 m / asl you can easily walk on a large rocky hump. Following the many trail signs (white/red) and frequent cairns, you reach an altitude of about 2830 m/asl where you continue on the easy rocky ridge that flattens out in the final part before reaching the summit of Piz Grevasalvas (2932 m/asl + summit book). A beautiful panorama completes the beautiful climb; views of the Bernina group, the upper Engadine, the Lej da Cavlocc and the Passo del Muretto, the nearby Piz Lunghin, the ridges of the Val Bregaglia, the Lej da Mormorera and the valley that climbs to the Septimerpass. The return is the same as the outward journey up to 2150 m / asl where, taking a small path on the right, you reach the hut of Mouttasc, then along a dirt road, you descend easily until you reach the dirt road that passes by the village of Grevasalvas and descends to Plaun da Lej.  – no fountains – "Bergheil" buonC@mmino –GPX(setetrak) : bit.ly/3AJHulI –interactive route:www.relive.cc/view/vRO7JPE9myv/explore
