3D route: bit.ly/3FaHZI5 – photo: bit.ly/2ZIZgb0 – autumn – There are three possibilities to climb Piz Nair (3056 m/asl), this excursion develops on the south side. Leave your car in the large car park (1790 m above sea level) of the SignalBahn cable car, west of Sankt Moritz, cross the bridge that crosses the Sela stream and take the path that goes north. Once you have crossed the paved road, walk on the wide dirt road in a north-easterly direction, coming out in Alpina (1963 m / asl) and then arrive in Salastrains; continuing on the dirt road you reach Alpe Giop (2182 m / asl). A little further on you will find the first sign for Piz Nair and following this path, which climbs north-west, you pass to Munt da San Murezzan (2690 m / asl). The path to Piz Nair becomes narrower and then the slope increases considerably without presenting major technical difficulties. As a final reference, this climb has the imposing arrival station of the cable car which has the large statue of an ibex next to it. Just above the arrival of the cable car is the top of Piz Nair from where you have very beautiful panoramic views. On the opposite side of the climb, take the dirt road of the cable car that you follow for about a kilometer to the Bocchetta Fuorcla Schlattain (2873 m / asl) where you turn right onto the path that passes under the north side of Piz Nair. At 2530 m above sea level, near a large artificial basin, continue to the right in the direction of the Corviglia funicular station. Continuing on the wide dirt road that descends to the south-west, you arrive at Alpe Giop where you continue following the route taken in the ascent – Route (E) of about 20 kilometers – Elevation gain 1290 meters – no fountains – gpx(setetrak): bit.ly/3ivA929 – "bergheil" buonC@mmino
