winter -photo:bit.ly/2Fu8Ke1 -video track:www.relive.cc/view/vYvr39r18xO - Route (E-T2) of about 13 kilometers - positive elevation gain 712 meters. - A nice excursion to visit a small town just across the border; in fact, Soglio is a jewel in the Graubünden area. After passing Villa di Chiavenna and reaching the "Old Customs" of Castasegna, park near the Carabinieri barracks (686 m / asl) and take the staircase path that climbs just before the waters of the Lovero stream. You pass through Guaita, reach the Somasascia pasture (1072 m / asl) and then continue on a wide mule track with many steps that facilitate the climb. Once in the Ragone area (1170 m / asl), where you intercept the "Panoramic Path" that comes from Savogno, you deviate decisively to the right entering the narrow valley of the Lovero stream which acts as an Italian/Swiss border. The path narrows a lot and has several ups and downs; at the exit of this valley you arrive at Alpe Dasciun (1108 m / asl).  Along a dirt road that leads to Soglio (1104 m / asl) you enter the ancient village very beautiful for its network of cobbled paths, very well-kept ancient houses, and then the pretty Palazzo Salis where in its garden there are 2 large sequoias that are over 200 years old. From Soglio you can continue, weather conditions permitting, on the "Panoramic Path" which continues in the direction of Vicosoprano. On the way back, take the road in the center of Soglio that descends to the valley along some shortcuts; after 4 or 5 hairpin bends it is advisable to take the old dirt road which, thanks to a short tunnel, passes under a waterfall that looks very similar to that of Acquafraggia; The route crosses beautiful chestnut forests.  - "bergheil" buonc@mmino -gpx(setetrak):bit.ly/3Ao2236 -interactive route:www.relive.cc/view/vYvr39r18xO/explore
