Description

Starting point in Punt Muragl or from the Muottas Muragl mountain station. The Fuorcla Muragl is targeted and driven down to about 2600 m. This is followed by another ascent, initially steep, then flatter again to fuorcla Olivet. Here it is hardly worth taking the skins off your skis, as the descent to the upper Lej da Burdun is short. Flat it continues through a lonely landscape to a nameless lake 2728 m. Now it goes again efficiently uphill, under the Piz Malat past, in a valley that becomes narrower and narrower and merges at the top of the summit ridge. Where it makes sense, the skis are deposited and without further ado the summit is reached. The descent through the spacious Culoir is terrific, but may only be walked in safe conditions. After a good 400 m descent through the Culoir, the skins are reassembled at about 2710 m. Via the Fuorcla Malat you reach the Piz Utèr. This is followed by another descent, slightly shorter, less steep, with the same exposition. At the altitude of 2580 m, the skins are mounted one last time. The ascent takes place over the long back to the Munt Müsella. The descent via Alp Müsella and then on the given route through the wildlife protection zone to La Punt-Chamues-Ch is more of a must in the middle part.
