Description
The Lumnezia cross-country training course is located outside of Cumbel near the playground with fire pit and charging station in Plaun Rueun. Together with other paths and trails in the area, laps of over four kilometers in length can be ridden and thus also used for cross-country races.
The approximately 1-meter-wide trail surface consists of various materials such as forest floor, soil, wood, washed gravel, or crushed sand. It includes different elements like stone fields, root fields, hairpin bends, etc., that also occur naturally in the terrain. Additionally, bike park elements like banked corners, jumps, drops, and Northshores have been integrated into the trails. The individual elements are incorporated in the course so that they can provide a practice and training effect.
The difficult elements can be easily bypassed and are therefore also perfect for sporty families.
Hidden Gem
The training course can be extended with the asphalt climb to Badugns and the subsequent trail descent to the entry of the course.
Just before the entry, there is a large picnic area with: fire pit, large shelter, toilet, water, and e-bike charging station. Together, this makes for a varied family day with something for everyone.
The number of parking spaces is very limited. Therefore, traveling by bike is highly recommended.
At the main road, there is a first signpost on the wall. Additional signposts are installed from the picnic area.
Safety Note
Riding the routes is at your own risk exclusively and based on a realistic self-assessment of your personal riding skills. The training course contains various obstacles with different difficulty levels. Therefore, it is highly recommended to inspect the entire course from start to finish before riding.
