A fairytale climb with snowshoes over the Val Ladral to Alp Miez. We take the way back via the beautiful Plaun da Tiarms forest clearing and continue on a permitted corridor through the wooded wildlife rest area to the starting point.

Description
Running in was yesterday. It's just getting down to business over the pastures between Waltensburg/Curtginet and Andiast. At Cumpadials you will meet the groomed winter hiking trail that leads into Val Ladral. After about one kilometre, we leave this path and turn right into the NW slope to Alp Miez. The view from the alp is phenomenal and invites you to take a long break.
Via the flat forest clearing Plaun da Tiarms we now thread into the forest of Con Ault. This is a wildlife rest zone. Leaving the route is not allowed here in winter. But that doesn't matter, because soon we enter open pastures again, which lead us down to the starting point.
