eMTB Transalp Wien - Nizza: Etappe 18 (Livigno - Thusis)

Again a great day with a warmup from Livigno to the Pass di Cassana. A steep "gravel road" up to 2675m. Downhill over a perfect single trail ; then gravel road to near S-chanf. Then continue through a long valley, first on the gravel road, then on a bumpy hiking trail to the Kescher Hut at 2640m. Down a steep hiking trail and then road to Bergün. From there an enjoyable flow trail along the Albula to Tiefenkastel. Then another good 400 m up and trail through the upper part of the Albula Gorge before Thusis. Despite 35°C again very worthwhile - although I doubted it briefly in between
