Description
A short 2-3 hours roundtrip hike to views of the upper Engadin lakes: views open around 0.7, 1.4 and especially from 2.0 km on. Best views are in the morning. Later in the day the sun and haze intervene. The Lake Chods is a nice little bonus. The walk is fairly easy up to km 2, getting steeper after that.
Return the same way, or continue on to the Murtel cable car station for even better views on the way (and knee-saving descent at CHF21 in 2016, see engadin.stmoritz.ch :-)
