Description

You climb the Piz Mundaun on a circular route. A varied route and fantastic views await you.

From Surcuolm, a forest and meadow path leads to the Gasthaus Bündner Rigi. Now the path often runs steeply up to Piz Mundaun. If you walk slowly, you can enjoy the increasingly impressive panorama. Once at the top, a visit to the Piz Mundaun platform is not to be missed. Maybe even a stop at the summit restaurant at the mountain station. Take the chairlift or walk down to Cuolm Sura. From there, the last stage leads back to Surcuolm on a beautiful hiking trail.

Geheimtipp

The boards on the viewing platform reveal the names of the most important peaks. With good visibility, the view extends from the Bernese to the Engadine to the Tyrolean Alps.

Sicherheitshinweis

In uncertain weather conditions, the tour should not be started. Weather changes are frequent in the mountains. If a rain front or similar comes up during the hike, you should turn back in time.

Ausrüstung

Good hiking boots with a good profile, weather-adapted clothing (rain jacket), ev. Change of clothes, first aid kit, drink, food, ev. Hiking poles.
