Directions

From the Chamanna digl Kesch you drive in the valley floor through the Val Tschüvel and Val Funtauna to Alp Funtauna. From here to the east and over a steep slope up into the Vallorgia. Follow the course of the valley. At the end of the large basin again steeply up to N/NO to Vadret Vallorgia. Via this first to N, then to O in the saddle south of the Piz Grialetsch (about 3010 m). In a northerly direction a little up to the ski depot. On foot over the very steep and exposed southern flank to the summit.

Departure: Over the Vadret da Grialetsch into the valley floor of the Val Grialetsch (P 2373 m). Short counter-ascent to W to the hut (150 m ascent).

Variant: Keep left from the saddle over the Vadret Grialetsch. At an altitude of about 2700 m to the left cross to a terrace below the Chilbiritzenspitze. Follow this to NW to the NO ridge foothills of the Chilbiritzenspitze, then in a northeasterly direction down to the Chamanna da Grialesch.
