Lag da Laus

A short round trip, where the bathing and barbecue time can be longer, like the actual pleasure hike. Barbecue, bathe your feet and enjoy the view of the mountains. A beautiful hike for connoisseurs in the middle of the Graubünden mountains.

Details

Description

Above the small village of Laus, the hike starts on wide hiking trails. It goes steadily uphill, past stables and flower-filled pastures. At the back, the view of the surrounding mountains becomes more and more beautiful and magnificent. The Lag da Laus is embedded in an idyllic mountain forest and pasture landscapes. Far up, behind the mountain lake, is the ridge of Alp da Laus and the rocks of Garveras. The scenery could hardly be more idyllic.

You can return either via the same path or via a gravel road. We recommend the gravel road here.

Geheimtipp

Take barbecue food with you to grill lunch on the official fireplace.

The exposition is to the north. In early summer and late autumn, the hours of sunshine are quite short.

Sicherheitshinweis

In uncertain weather conditions, the tour should not be started. Weather changes in the mountains are frequent. If a rain front or similar comes up during the hike, you should turn back in time.

Ausrüstung

Hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing (rain jacket), first aid kit, drink, food, possibly Hiking poles
