Description
The hike starts above the small village of Laus on wide hiking trails. The trail climbs steadily uphill, past stables and flower-filled pastures. Behind you, the view of the surrounding mountains becomes increasingly beautiful and magnificent. Lag da Laus is embedded in an idyllic mountain forest and pasture landscape. Far above, behind the mountain lake, is the ridge of Alp da Laus and the rocks of Garveras. The scenery could hardly be more idyllic.
You can either return via the same path or via a gravel road. We recommend the gravel road.
Geheimtipp
Take barbecue food with you to grill lunch on the official fire pit.
The exposure is to the north. In early summer and late fall, the hours of sunshine are quite short.
Sicherheitshinweis
The tour should not be undertaken in uncertain weather conditions. Weather changes are frequent in the mountains. If a rain front or similar is approaching during the hike, you should turn back in good time.
