Description

photo:bit.ly/2PeFddG - video track:www.relive.cc/view/v7O95YjYZLO - Route (EE-T3) of about 21 kilometers - Elevation gain 983 meters. - In autumn, when the colors are intense and special, go to Lake Monte (Lac dal Munt). It is a beautiful alpine lake in the territory of Livigno not far from the Swiss border. You must reach the P10 parking lot of Passo Forcola (2315 m / asl) by car where a well-marked path starts in a northerly direction. After covering 300 meters of positive elevation gain, you arrive at the first sign where you deviate towards N-E on the path that reaches the only hut (former barracks of the G.d.F.). Once you reach the nearby locality of La Stretta (2476 m / asl) you go to take the path made of so many twists to Lake Monte (2606 m / asl). At an altitude of 2786 m / asl you descend to the large natural lake which has no visible surface tributaries and only a small trickle of water that comes out of it. There is an efficient and spartan bivouac built by a group of trial motorcyclists from Livigno. At the outflow of the waters, a well-marked path starts that descends to Alpe Campaccio (1958 m / asl) which is owned by the Municipality of Bormio. After crossing the road that climbs to Passo Forcola, take the dirt track that runs alongside the waters of the Spöl stream. After Alpe Vago, continue westwards entering the valley that leads to the foot of the Forcola Pass. Continue climbing on the track that reaches the pass with a large number of hairpin bends.  -"bergheil" buon@ammino -gpx(setetrak):tinyurl.com/v6k57shs -interactive route:www.relive.cc/view/v7O95YjYZLO/explore
