Easy and safe route on the Swiss side, poorly marked and on uneven terrain on the Italian side. The Italian part is therefore not recommended with unstable weather and the possibility of rain. In this case, it is preferable to shorten the route by descending directly to Chiareggio from the Passo del Forno or from the Grande Camerini Refuge, so as to avoid at least the Sissonne Valley.

From the Capanna Del Forno (above the glacier of the same name in the Engadine) to the Grande Camerini Refuge (in front of the Disgrazia, in Valmalenco) calculate at least 4 hours. The former has a spectacular view, but clearly Swiss prices.
